Pinterest - How to use it, Who to follow, Why it's so fab!
Well what else is there to do when you've only got time for a 20 minute lunch break? Lose yourself in Pinterest that's what. Create some boards - 'Travel', 'Outdoor Dining', 'Yachts', 'Beaches', or indeed anything that takes us away from the office or our normal lives.
If you haven't discovered it yet, you can take a look at it here.
It's as simple as creating an account (it's free to do so) and then you can get pinning. If you want to get an idea of what people are doing, have a look at the Andrassy Living boards by clicking here.
In a nutshell, it's a great place to find inspiration on ANYTHING. If you're building a house, going to a fancy dress party, travelling to Iceland, buying a new car, want to look at images of Leonardo di Caprio (don't we all?!), it's there for you and the best thing is, you can pin everything you like to virtual noticeboards so you can refer back to them later.
We've got loads of favourite 'pinners' - people that pin interesting links to recipes, interiors, travel ideas etc and beautiful swoon-worthy images to delight and inspire. Here are links to the ones we know you'll love:
Marte Marie Forsberg - Norwegian home cook and photographer living in the UK who pins her own stunning photographs along with fabulous fashion and lifestyle ideas and of course loads of foodie stuff.
Kate Arends - Wit & Delight is Kate's online lifestyle blog which offers tips and info on all things stylish. Her Pinterest boards are on everything from health and beauty to fashion and interiors and foodie stuff:
Country Style Magazine - Aussie based lifestyle magazine that pin fabulous images like this one of the perfect beach hut in Oz.
Elisabetta Pozzetti - a garden designer from Milan in Italy who posts anything and everything relating to gardens, planting and garden design.
So, we hope you enjoy using Pinterest. Maybe you could create a board called 'Great Blogs' and pin this one! (just a thought) Happy pinning!
