Andrassy Living is Launched
Having spent the last 12 months planning the business, searching for the right products, asking favours, learning the ins and outs of web design and generally getting in a pickle about VAT, we're up and running.
As you know, Andrassy Living is an online store selling beautiful and unique home accessories & gifts and this is the Blog.
Future offerings will feature information on anything from our brands and the products, to tips and advice on how to make your house feel more like HOME; recommendations and snippets from the best interiors tomes (I own an awful lot of them); people and places that have inspired me; and sneak peeks at fabulous homes I've had the pleasure of visiting. In fact it could be anything that I think you'll find interesting and relevant (and I'm sure you'll soon let me know if it's not).
In the meantime though, I'm not going to overload you with information in this, my first post, but thank you for visiting the website and for reading this blog. I'd also like to thank all the wonderful people that have helped me get to this point in one way or another - Zach and all the other gurus at Shopify; Suzie at Clean Themes; Janni and Sanne at TineK; Anja at Day Home; Steph and Lisbeth at Broste Copenhagen; Helene at House Doctor; my dad for fitting out my beautiful office and Paul Maskell at Yolk who has been an absolute superstar and helped me with all sorts of things from branding to getting my website right. Lastly I'd like to thank my husband for supporting the idea and all my friends and family who believe Andrassy Living will be a huge success - I hope you're right.
In the words of Jane Austen, "there's nothing like staying at home for real comfort" (especially if you fill it with beautiful and practical accessories, after all, it's the decorative details that lift something standard to a different level).
See you again soon.
