Have you got people over this Easter?  Need some inspiration for your tablescape?  I have lots of gorgeous things that will elevate your dining experience - see the photo below of a little mock-up of a tablescape that I’ve put together simply using a tablecloth and placemats, some real cotton napkins (lovely for smaller gatherings - I tend to stick to paper for anything over 12!) I have also got these pretty paper eggs in stock again (these look wonderful hanging from branches or dot them around the table with some blossom).  Lastly, don’t forget some candles (I have lots of them as you know, in pretty much every colour) and if you have them, some coloured water glasses also add interest to the table.  Have a wonderful Easter, whatever you’re up to.

I don’t have any Easter recipes for you this time but what I do have is a fun game you can play if you’ve got people coming over.  This is a good one if you are a small group because you only need two players and upwards to play!  The ‘Egg Toss’ can involve all age groups and gets you outside (highly recommended if you don’t want raw egg on your carpets!) Start two feet apart, take one egg and throw it to the person opposite you (simple!) then, given that they hopefully caught it, take two steps back and go again.  Keep going until someone drops it!  The teenagers managed this up to 15 metres yesterday until the egg finally broke (you need very soft hands!) and I obviously failed dismally.  Have fun people and make sure you add eggs to your shopping list!
